BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification courses from the American Heart Association, available in both blended learning and traditional classroom formats. Whether you choose the convenience of online coursework followed by in-person skills training or prefer a fully in-classroom experience, you'll receive hands-on instruction from one of our certified instructors. These courses are available at one of our offices or can be brought directly to your location for on-site training, ensuring flexible options that meet your needs.
Upon successful completion of the courses below, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer or licensing agency to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who should take this course?
The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Course Length (Classroom): 3 - 4 hours for a full/initial course, 2.5 - 3 hours for a renewal course
Course Length (Hybrid/Blended Learning): 1 - 2 hours for the online portion, 1-2 hours for the skills session
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who should take this course?
Healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response.
Course Length (Classroom): 12 hours for a full/initial course, 8 hours for a renewal course
Course Length (Hybrid/Blended Learning): 3-4 hours for the online portion, 3 hours for the skills session
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills.
Who should take this course?
Healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Course Length (Classroom): 12 hours for a full/initial course, 8 hours for a renewal course
Course Length (Hybrid/Blended Learning): 3-4 hours for the online portion, 3-4 hours for the skills session
